SUSS MicroTec in Russia DOI: 10.22184/1993-8578.2019.12.6.326.330
SUSS MicroTec celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. TBS, being an exclusive agent in Russia, timed the 50th anniversary delivery of the MJB4 installation to this date, bringing the number of installed exposure systems in Russia to 70.
Structural peculiarities of EI-961SH ultra-fine grain steel with nano-scale carbide particles under cycle loading DOI: 10.22184/1993-8578.2019.12.6.332.337
The paper presents the results of research reflecting the influence of ultra-fine grain structure on fatigue properties of ferrite-martensitic steel. Special attention has been paid to a study of the structural changes occurring after the fatigue tests. Studied are the peculiarities of the fatigue fracture and evolution of microstructure depending on a distance from the fracture position using the methods of REM and TEM. The X-ray structural analysis enabled to determine the lattice parameter, coherent scattering region, density of dislocations, volume fraction and carbon particles sizes. The influence of UFG-structure, volume fraction and carbon particle sizes on the mechanism of destruction under cycle loading have been discussed.

In connection with the 40th anniversary of the invention of scanning probe microscopy, the experience of its development by the team of authors is generalized. Presented are the examples and characteristics of historically developed applications of probe microscopy and recommendations and formulas for subsequent developments.
ATC Industry 4.0: basics of computer numerical control DOI: 10.22184/1993-8578.2019.12.6.366.369
The developments in the field of machine tools industry with computer numeric control (CNC) become more and more popular and advanced. From a conventional three-coordinate machine, we proceeded to creation of high-precision machines and machines with automatic tool change. Market demands require continuous improvement of the instrumental base and program management.
Improved FemtoScan XI scanning probe microscope Living cell may be visualized using the atomic force microscopy, however, deformation of soft and sensitive surface of a sample due to interaction with a cantilever leads to certain difficulties. Capillary microscopy allows a contactless scanning of a cell surface with a resolution of 3–6 nm without, virtually, force interaction.
Expocentre Fairgrounds organized an exhibition with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Russian Union of Chemists, OJSC "NIITEKHIM", the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Production Center "Himvest", D.I.Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society, Department of Chemistry of Lomonosov Moscow State University and D.I.Mendeleev RCTU.
Seminar "Supercritical fluid technologies as innovative technologies of "green chemistry" is a part of the business program of the "CHEMISTRY 2019" international exhibition The "CHEMISTRY 2019" International exhibition has been held since 1965 and is the largest industry event in the chemical industry and science in Russia. Annually, the exhibition presents advanced solutions and new opportunities for chemical and petrochemical complexes for various industries. Traditionally, the exhibition is accompanied by an extensive business program: conferences, seminars, round tables on topical issues of Russian scientific and industrial chemistry.

TISNUM – the leader of domestic production of analytical equipment and research of physical and mechanical properties of materials DOI: 10.22184/1993-8578.2019.12.6.382.385
TISNUM was founded in 1995 as the Scientific and Technical Center "Superhard Materials". We visited the department for the study of physical and mechanical properties and got acquainted with the history, scientific developments and a line of analytical equipment produced by the department’s employees, visited the Center for the collective use of scientific equipment, where we learned about the latest research on nanostructured, carbon and superhard materials.
The formation of a multi-level system of interconnects and increasing the reproducibility of the multilayer systems production process DOI: 10.22184/1993-8578.2019.12.6.338.341
Considered are the interconnections of a multi-level system formation (MLS) based on the elements of integrated electronics, the influencing factors and ways to reduce internal stresses and ensure adhesion to the substrate. It is shown that the MLSIS provides the production of reliable and stable elements and reproducibility of MLS manufacture.
Flexible printed conformed electronics. Domestic competencies and electronic components DOI: 10.22184/1993-8578.2019.12.6.342.350
The paper presents the result of the development and manufacture of electronic components created with the use of the flexible printed electronics technology, ultrafine thinning of chip crystals of active elements and 2D microassembly operations on a thin flexible medium for a unified touch-information platform of the Internet of things.
